See Saw

Mum has been taking Aunty Paula's advice and looking on ebay (and other sites) for the best toys for me.

She got a small swing.

Dad put me in it and it was fantastic.

It made me giggle.

My Home Boys/Girls

Every Friday mum and I catch up with the gang.

It's an exclusive club; only 4 of us (plus our mums).

Clockwise we have Elsie, me, Sophie and Sebastian.

I swear I thought I saw a puddy cat.   I did, I did.

Now, Sebastian.  Build those muscles.  1 and 2 and 3 ....

A scream can be heard - "Mr Bug is attacking Elsie!"

Mild mannered Zachary responds "I'll rescue you, Elsie!"
(Now where did my super baby suit go?)

Newborn to Infancy

I have officially graduated from being a 'newborn' to an 'infant' so mum and dad decided to let me have a big boy bed (aka cot) rather than the baby basket.

That's right, I now have room to move.

I haven't begun to roll around yet but I might try in a month or so.  Right now, I'm content with just lying in the vast spaciousness.

Aaaaahhhhhhhhh.  Well, actually, it is more like ZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzz.

BOOOOOO Ohhhhoooohhhooo!!!

Its Halloween and I've decided to get into the spirit (get it?!).

I'm a bit young to go trick or treating so I've decided to put on a Super Baby costume.

Up, up and awayyyyyyyyyyy!

What do you think?

Vital Statistics

Today I took Grandma to visit the health workers.

I jumped on the scales and found out that I'm a healthy 5.65 kg (12.5 lb).

Not only that but I decided to check my height as some of my clothes are pretty snug.  I'm approx 62 cm (24.5 inches) long.

When we looked at my growth history we discovered that I've gained approx 3-4 cm (approx 1 1/2 inches) and 1 kg (2 lb) a month; give or take a bit.

Mmmmmmm, I do like my food.  ;)

Lazy Mornings

Since my grandparents arrived we've been having very lazy mornings and sometimes days.

These have been captured so there's no dening it.

Victoria and Albert Museum

Jim and Kath hadn't been to the Victoria and Albert Museum so we decided to take them there.

We decided to enjoy the National History Museum's gardens whilst waiting for dad we noticed quite a few school groups using the gardens for their lunch breaks.

We were sitting chatting when a lady came up to mum and asked her for a disposable nappy bag.  Luckily mum had a packet of these and she gave several of them to the lady.

Why?

Well, apparently one of the boys had got motion sick in the bus on the way to the museum.  This had caused the rest of the students to dry reach (nice!!).  The teacher had explained that the nappy bags are the best sick bags you can get.  This is because they are the right size, waterproof and can be easily tied.

Once daddy arrived we headed to a cafe (a greasey spoon) to have lunch before going to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

We wondered happily around for a while around the museum before I decided I wanted some milk.  Mum feed and changed me whilst the others enjoyed the artefacts.

I got a little over stimulated by all the things to see and began to grizzle a bit.  You should've seen the looks mum and dad got from some of the other people.

You would think that they would be impressed that my parents were introducing me to culture (even at such a young age) but apparently not.

I decided to ignore them and go to sleep.
