Victoria and Albert Museum
Jim and Kath hadn't been to the Victoria and Albert Museum so we decided to take them there.
We decided to enjoy the National History Museum's gardens whilst waiting for dad we noticed quite a few school groups using the gardens for their lunch breaks.
We were sitting chatting when a lady came up to mum and asked her for a disposable nappy bag. Luckily mum had a packet of these and she gave several of them to the lady.
Why?
Well, apparently one of the boys had got motion sick in the bus on the way to the museum. This had caused the rest of the students to dry reach (nice!!). The teacher had explained that the nappy bags are the best sick bags you can get. This is because they are the right size, waterproof and can be easily tied.
Once daddy arrived we headed to a cafe (a greasey spoon) to have lunch before going to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
We wondered happily around for a while around the museum before I decided I wanted some milk. Mum feed and changed me whilst the others enjoyed the artefacts.
I got a little over stimulated by all the things to see and began to grizzle a bit. You should've seen the looks mum and dad got from some of the other people.
You would think that they would be impressed that my parents were introducing me to culture (even at such a young age) but apparently not.
I decided to ignore them and go to sleep.

Kew Gardens
We decided to do this visit on Saturday as this was predicted to be sunny whilst Sunday was meant to be gloomy. This was not the case on the day.
Despite this we had an enjoyable time wondering around the gardens.
On our way to the gardens we stopped off to have morning tea at a coffee shop. It was decked out as a garden.
Mum had packed a lunch so we could have a mini picnic. Whilst they ate I got a bit peckish so Grandma kindly help me have my milk.
Kath had mentioned that her photos from her last visit to Kew Gardens had mysteriously vanished so we all decided to recreate the last visit.

We wondered through the glass houses which had plants from the tropics (e.g. orchids) to deserts (e.g. cacti).

Airport Adventures
Mum and I went to collect Grandma and Grandpa S from the airport.
We had to get a bus, then train and finally the tube as there was a strike by the union which the drivers were part of. Not only that, it took twice as long as only a skeleton service was running and many parts of the underground were closed.
We made it with plenty of time to spare so I decided to have a spot of afternoon milk whilst mum had a coffee.
Grandma and Grandpa gave us lots of kisses before we took a prebooked taxi home.

Border Control
Now that I'm getting bigger I need to get all the legal paperwork done. For some of these we need pictures.
4. Must be looking directly ahead i.e. at the camera.

The rules are pretty strict.
1. Mouths must be closed i.e. no open/smiling mouths.
2. Eyes must be open.
3. No shaddows.

A Walk In Hyde Park
Mum and dad met up with another couple (Annette and Barley) who are expecting their first child at the end of November.
We all had a lovely time walking around Hyde Park and then a spot of lunch.
Annette kindly gave me my lunch. (I'm hiding her bump!)
Dad gave me my afteroon tea. (He doesn't have a bump! hee hee )
Eventually, the lady left and mum explained to Annette that she should be prepared for many of these types of 'helpful' tips from complete strangers.

Whilst we were sitting at a cafe in the park a retired (complete with white hair) woman approached us. She decided to explain to mum that she thought mum was going to bang my little head on the table. The lady stated that mum should be careful as the baby's (that's me) head was awlfully close to the table. Mum just smiled and said thank you and ignored her. However, this was not enough and the lady insisted my head was in iminate dange of being banged against the table.
I must say, at this point, that my little headdy was a good 6 inches from the table and I was happily having my morning milk with no intention of wiggling.
